Rumor : The Batman Director Wants Jake Gyllenhaal to Replace Ben Affleck?

It's becoming clearer and clearer that Ben Affleck is distancing himself from the Matt Reeves' The Batman as the promotional tour for Justice League soldiers on, and it appears that the director has already thought of a pretty interesting choice for a replacement. Affleck has been non-committal over the last few months, but the actor has recently gone out of his way to say that the standalone movie is something that he is "contemplating," which is a pretty far cry from where we were a year ago when he was set to write and direct the project. But obviously, a lot has changed in one year.

Earlier in the week it was reported that Matt Reeves has found who he would like to step in and play the Dark Knight and it already sounds like an excellent idea. Reports that Ben Affleck was no longer attached to The Batman have been swirling for months, giving Reeves ample time to figure out who he'd like to takeover for Affleck. Just who is the mystery A-list actor that the director reportedly wants? John Campea claims to have the scoop and released the name during his movie video blog today.

Director and film critic John Campea revealed on his YouTube show, "I'm hesitant to say anything, but I talked to a Hollywood producer yesterday who told me who Matt Reeves wants as Batman." Campea goes on to say that he was taken aback by the news and even called a source close to the project that confirmed what he had heard. According to Campea, Matt Reeves wants Jake Gyllenhaal to step up and play Bruce Wayne. It's important to note that this is an unconfirmed rumor at this time, but even if Gyllenhaal were to be announced, it wouldn't be until after the Justice League dust has settled.

Jake Gyllenhaal was up for the part of Batman in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, but the part ultimately went to Christian Bale (which is good, since Jake's sister Maggie ended up playing Bruce Wayne's love interest in The Dark Knight Rises). It would be a neat turn of events to see Gyllenhaal get his second chance and give his take on the character. Jake Gyllenhaal was also considered for the part of Spider-Man when Tobey Maguire sustained injuries while filming Seabiscuit. Gyllenhaal was considered as a replacement, but eventually Maguire was able to return to do the work.

So, what do we think about all of this? Would Jake Gyllenhaal make a better Batman than Ben Affleck? It's definitely time to breathe some new life into the character that has been somewhat lackluster by many fan accounts over the course of the last few DCEU movies. Jake Gyllenhaal could be the breath of fresh air and talent that Matt Reeves needs to reignite The Batman and get it off of the ground. As previously mentioned, this is an unconfirmed rumor at this time, but it surely is an exciting prospect. Mom who posed with 20,000 bees for maternity shoot suffers still birth

A expectant mother who covered herself in bees for her maternity shoot has suffered a still birth.

Emily Mueller, whose photos of herself and 20,000 bees quickly went viral earlier this year, posted about her experience on Facebook.

The 33-year-old from Ohio explained she went to hospital after she noticed little movement from her baby.

Nurses tried and failed to find a heartbeat. That’s when a doctor came in and told the family the ‘baby has passed’.

She wrote: ‘I can’t and don’t want to explain that feeling to anyone. Turning to your husband and seeing him die inside. Seeing him completely break. Seeing your children feel and suffer your pain in front of your eyes. The pain is unbearable.

‘The Dr. encouraged me to look at the screen and I wished I hadn’t. I wished I could remove the imagine in my mind of seeing the unbeating black, lifeless heart on the screen.’

When they got home they opened up the envelope the hospital had previously given them revealing the baby’s gender. It was a boy. They named him Emersyn Jacob.

Emily later returned to hospital to give birth to her boy.

They chose to send off the placenta for testing, although Emily suspects blood clotting was the ultimate cause of death.

The family spent time with Emersyn via a special cooling cot donated by a mother who later found out it was being used.

She connected with Emily over Facebook and Emily expressed her gratitude.

Emily added: ‘I am so thankful she had that experience and it was an awakening to me that Emersyn, too, will be serving a purpose for someone else. What we have gone through was not in vain and the Lord Almighty will lead us on our path to heal and learn his journey.

His defense, long a glaring weakness, has helped anchor a group that easily paces the NBA in defensive efficiency. In the wake of Gordon Hayward’s season-ending ankle injury, Al Horford, Jaylen Brown and rookie Jayson Tatum have been more-than-worthy sidekicks. Still, Golden State is favored by 7.5 points for a reason. No team has been more dominant than a Warriors team that has won each of its past seven games by at least 10 points.

Can the Warriors keep up their torrid offense? Though its defense has been inconsistent at times, Golden State has had no issues scoring this season. Its 119.6 points per game are 8.2 more than any other team. The Warriors are shooting an absurd 51.9 percent from the field, including 41.2 percent from three-point range, and they average a league-leading 31.3 assists. But if anyone can quell Golden State, it’s Boston. The Celtics have allowed their opponent to score more than 102 points just twice.
